REFUGEE CONFERENCE AT EVIAN
AUSTRALIA ONLY DOMINION TO ATTEND LONDON, June 22. The Australian Associated Press learns that Australia will be the only Dominion to attend the International Conf ’rence at Evian on July 6, which has been initiated by the United States for the absorption of German and Austrian refugees. All the Dominions were invited, but the others declined, Britain will be represented at the conference by Lord Winterton and Mr C. M. Palairet, until recently British Minister in Vienna.
