moorhouse avenue church OF CHRIST Evangelist A. Hinrichsen, who has followed Pastor Stuart Stevens as minister of the MoorhOuse Avenue Church of Christ was welcomed at a meeting in the church on Wednesday evening Addresses of welcome were given by Pastor J. Crawford, representing the
Christchurch Ministers’ Association and the St. Albans Church of Christ. Pattor R. W. Simpson, for the Beckenham Church, and Canterbury youth groups, and Mr L. R. Pugh (Moorhouse avenue official board, and church members). For the women of the churcn. Mr E. Taylor presented Mr Hinrichsen with a bouquet for Mrs Hinnchsea, who was unavoidably absent Acknowledging the welcome, M* Hinrichsen made a plea for keener cooperation among the local churches ana expressed his pleasure at renewing many Christchurch friendships. TO Moorhouse Avenue choir, under the direction of M. H. E, Ames, gave two items. .
