LIBRARY COMMITTEE AT NEW BRIGHTON
The chairman (Mr C. Gudge) welcomed Cr. W. E. S. Furby, the New Brighton Borough Council’s, representative, at the monthly meeting of the New Brighton Library Committee. Mr Furby congratulated the committee on the efficiency of its service to the public and promised whole-hearted during May amounted to £l6 ss, it was reported. Seven new members joined, making a total of 297. Forty-four new books were placed on the shelves during May and 45 purchased for June.
