VISIT TO LONDON DOCKS
NEW ZEALAND FARMERS’ INSPECTION .A party of New Zealand farmers, as the guests of the Port of London Authority, recently made a visit to London’s principal docks. After being received at Tower Pier by Admiral A. G. Hotham, C. 8., C.M.G. (chairman of the Maintenance Committee of the Authority), and Mr A. E. Wildey (Public Relations Officer), the party embarked in the steamer St. Katharine, and went down the river to the Royal docks. During the cruise through the Royal Victoria, Albert, and King George V docks, the visitors were in-terested-to see the discharge of refrigerated meat, dairy produce, and green fruit from liners, the names of which are as familiar in New Zealand as in London.
