TOURNAMENT SHOOT AT CHEVIOT
The Cheviot Miniature Rifle Club fired the fourth match in the North Canterbury Miniature Rifle Association’s winter tournament. The results were:— A Team—W. A. Douglas 78. R. Williamson 78, A. Williamson 78, R. Burnett 77, V. E. Barnes 77, M. B. Daly 77, W. Drew 76, A. Walmsley 76, E. Honeybone 71, C. Whitehead 71. B Team—D. Fraser 76, R. L. Lindsay 76, C. Honeybope 76. J. Delaney 75, W. Courtier 74; G. Rowlands 72; J. Crossen 72, L. Barnett 72, R. Honeybone 71, H. Honeybone 71. The Whltehead-Drew button for the best score off the rifle was won by D. Fraser with 79, W. Drew won the senior handicap button, and the junior handicap button was won by L. Fuller.
CULVERDEN CLUB’S SHOOT T. Henshaw and R. Gudsell won the senior and junior buttons respectively at the weekly shoot of the Culverden Men’s Miniature Rifle Club. The following were the scores:—J.
