PRISON ESCAPEE IN COURT
(muus issoouncw rautosiMsO PALMERSTON NORTH, June 22. Escaping from the Waikune prison camp on Sunday night John Colston, aged 28, a labourer, was arrested at Levin yesterday, and appeared in the Magistrate’s Court at Palmerston North to-day, charged with escaping and also with the theft of an overcoat and other articles, valued at £3 7s 6d, from a motor-car. The accused was remanded till June 27.
