GERMAN’S SUCCESS ON ISLE OF MAN
WINS LIGHT-WEIGHT TOURIST TROPHY LONDON, June 15. The Light-weight Tourist Trophy race on the Isle of Man was won by E. Kluge (Germany) with an average speed of 78.48 miles an hour —a record for the race. The distance is over 264 miles. Kluge, one of Germany’s rising stars, has met with much success in many of the leading Continental races. He was second in the 250 c.c. class of the 1936 F.I.C.M. Grand Prix.
