Thompson is misled in his assumptions about Lord Bother- ' mere and the great London paper B» “Daily Mail.” Certainly it is a penny paper, but so are all the English newspapers except “The Times.” As to its _ being “sensational,” the adjective & misleading, as it is only justified in so far as all world news which is fresh, and accurate is “sensational” at tins most unhappy epoch in modem history. Lord Rothertnere employs some of the finest Intelligences in the British Smpire. and Mr v. K. ThotppsOn and your correspondents and “Come Down to Earth" are living XB a fool's paradise they have never considered the implication of the pad between Germany.
