j . APPEAL IN CHRISTCHURCH / . There has been formed at Canterbury University College a branch of ■ a New Zealand organisation to further an appeal for funds for Chinese student relief. ' The branch has the support of bodies such as the Christchurch District Trades Council, a few business firms, the Student Christian Movement, arid many private individuals and clubs. The appeal in Christchurch is sponsored by Dr. J.
