NAZI LEAGUE IN NEW ZEALAND
■' ♦— BRANCH MEETS IN WELLINGTON NO ACTIVITY REPORTED IN CHRISTCHURCH Is there a Christchurch branch of the New Zealand Nazi League? The existence of the league in the Dominion, and its activity in at least one city, were indicated in a recent advertisement in ttye “Evening Post,” Wellington, which convened “by order” a meeting of the Wellington group. , Inquiries made in the city failed to establish the existence of a Christchurch branch. It was stated that it was considered extremely doubtful whether there were, sufficient eligible German nationals in the city to form a group. Most of the few German nationals resident here were said to be German Jews, which might be considered a’bar to membership of a Nazi organisation. The text of the Wellington advertisement was:— N.Z. Nazi League (Wellington Group). All members requested attend rally at home Group Member 27, Tuesday, 7.30 p.m. Full attendance essential By order, V.K.
