Rain fell on only six days at Waimate last month and the total fall on those days was 86 points; according to figures supplied' yesterday by the Meteorological Observer (Mr JV Allen). The highest rainfall on-one day during the month was-35 •• points on May 28. The total number of hours of sunshine for the month was 180.2. the daily average being 6.8 hours.
