Atkinson (14), 2 down: Mrs H. F. Butland (14), 4 down; Mrs A. Dunn (17). 4 down: Miss G. Woods (17), 5 down; Mrs H. B. Duckworth (21), 5 down; Mrs K. B. Macßae (22), 6 down. In the semi-finals of the Avondale foursomes Mrs S. Bradford and P. Smith beat Mrs J. Martin and Miss P. Ellwood 6 and 5, Mrs W. E. Stickings and Mrs D. P. Brennan beat Mrs W. Paton and Mrs H. R. Blair 7 and 6.
