DUNEDIN COMPETITIONS
The Dunedin Competitions Society’s thirty-seventh annual festival will be held from August 17 till September 3, and entries will close on June 23. A most attractive syllabus has been arranged. The features are the grand Opera aria, Gilbert and Sullivan contest, chief piano solo, piano concerto for two pianos, verse speaking choirs, firms’ choirs, women’s choirs, ballets, as well as the usual elocution, instrumental, vocal, and dancing sections. , The judges are Dr. Edgar, Ford' (instrumental), Dr, James Lyon (vocal) H and Mr J. W. Bailey (elocution). Syllabuses are obtainable from the branches of Messrs Charles Begg and Company.
