The British Medical Association's plan for a national co-ordinated health policy suggests an extension of medical service under the national health insurance scheme to an additional £ 18,000,000 to £20,000,000 by the inclusion of every member of every family with an income of under £250 a year, also the extension of the present system to include every type of specialist, full dental and ophthalmic services, and the establishment of a complete maternity service system.
