Mrs J. Cracroft Wilson presided at the annual meeting of the Lincoln-Tal Tapu sub-branch of the Plunket Society, and gave a short talk on me society’s work during the year. Mm C. Chilton spoke of Sir Truby King s work and the founding of the Plunket S< Dumig the afternoon, Mrs Gallagher gave two amusing recitations and songs were sung by Mrs A. Mcßean, with Mrs Mugford as accompanist. The following officers and committee were elected:-r-Patroness, Miss V. V. Hynes; president, Mrs W. A. Johnston, vice-presidents, Meadames R. M. Morten, G. Mcßean. J. W. Caldcr. and Hudson; honorary secretary, Miss A. Haughton; honorary treasurer, Mrs I. W committee, Mesdames Sidey. Franklin. Morrjah. Powell. Mackenzie, Macartney Hemzman. Fallon. Foster, Misse/s Welsh, Henry, and Sister Oakev.
