1 Hie supplementary roll fortoss borough of Lyttelton closed day, bringing the total numwf <■ names on both rolls up to 2255, as eonvpared with 2327 at the last election. Mr W. W. Toy was nominated ynrtaa day for the Mayoralty, the nominators being -Messrs H. A. Rhind and l C. Voyce. Nominations for the Borwign Council yesterday were Messrs V. TFoster, G. Halliday. W. T. Lindsay, and A- R. Mutton.
