W.E.A. MEETING AT AKAROA
, ♦ ■ Members of the Akaroa branch of the Workers’ Educational Association held their first meeting for the year at the home of the leader, Mrs A, Aitchison. There was a good attendance. The course being studied is “More Personalities,” and a study was made of “Joan of Arc,” with a summary by Bernard Shaw. Two one-act plays, "Joan the Maid,” by Herman Quid, and “Joan of Domremy” were read and discussed. _
