WIDENING NO. 2 WHARF Work is now in progress for the widening of No. 2 ( steamer-express) wharf. The wharf will be widened by 16 feet on the east side for its whole length, and the work will take several months to complete. White Butterfly Parasites A supply of parasites for the destruction of white butterflies was received by the Borough Council last week from the Cawthron Institute. The parasites were liberated by the Borough Inspector (Mr G. Daniel) in suitable places in the residential part of the town. .
