RETURN HOME
[THE PRESS Special Service.]
BLENHEIM, March 22.
When they left on their return journey to Motueka yesterday, after their visit to Blenheim to see Flying Officer Clouston, Mr and Mrs R. E. Clouston and their family travelled in a car provided Toy the Minister for Public Works (the Hon. R. Semple). After it had been decided that Flying Officer Clouston would spend the night in Blenheim, and would not go to his home town in the aeroplane provided by Cook Strait Airways, Mr and Mrs Clouston and their family were in some difficulty, as their own car was in Nelson, On hearing of their predicament, Mr Semple offered them the use of his car, in which he is at present undertaking a tour of public works in the northern portion of the South Island. The offer was gratefully accepted. One car left yesterday about midday, and returned to Blenheim last night.
