RAIL CONCESSIONS FOR YACHTSMEN
Following representations from' the New Zealand Yachting Council about concessions to crews travelling to regattas, the Minister for Railways (the Hon. D. G. Sullivan) has approved the minimum being waived. This means that any crew, irrespective of number, will be able to obtain advantage of the concession fare, provided it is travelling to compete at a regatta. This will be of material advantage to Sanders Cup. Cornwall Cup, and Idle Along crews.
