American stations which have ceased broadcasting are: WJBR, Gastonia, 1420 kilocycles; WRAX, Philadelphia, 920 kilocycles; CMBQ, Havana, 1140 kilocycles. Two reinstated are: WARD and WLTH, both on 1400 kilocycles. New Canadian stations are: CFGP, Grande Prarie, 1200 kilocycles; CFAR, Flin Flon, 1370 kilocycles; CBL, Toronto, 840 kilocycles; CHLN, Three Rivers, 1420 kilocycles; CRCY, Toronto, 100 watts, has changed to 960 kilocycles; CRCM, 1050 kilocycles, has changed call to CBM. It is reported that all Canadian stations are now verifying. The following South American stations have changed frequency: PRAB, Recife, Brazil, 25,000 watts, to 720 kilocycles; PRA4, Sao Salvador, Brazil, 10,000 watts, to 740 kilocycles; PRA6, Sao Paulo, Brazil, 10,000 watts, to 760 kilocycles; PRA2, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, 1500 watts, to 800 kilocycles; PRD2, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, 1000 watts, to 1060 kilocycles; PRHB, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, 5000 watts, to 1120 kilocycles; PRA9, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, 1000 watts, to 1220 kilocycles. New stations in Europe: Genoa, 1140 kilocycles, 10,000 watts; Gorlitz, 1231 kilocycles, 2000 watts (relays Bresl&u); Stagshaw, 1122 kilocycles, 6000 watts.
