MIDGET CAR RACING
ATTRACTION AT MONICA PARK At Monica Park to-night, beginning at 8 o'clock, the popular team of American and Australian midget car drivers will present a second programme, which will be entirely new, and will feature some thrilling novelty events. It should prove very popular with patrons of the speedway, whose introduction to this new and spectacular snort last Saturday was made under happy auspices. The riders supply thrills of a variety seldom seen in New Zealand, and those who attend the meetings are not slow to appreciate the amazing skill and daring they display when guiding their high-powered small cars round the narrow track. As the team is returning to America shortly, those who have not yet seen it in action should do so without -delay. There will be free parking for cars, and a special tram service will be run from Cathedral square. If the weather is wet to-night the meeting will be held on Monday. __________„__
