SUGGESTION BY MEETING IN TIMARU

Council of the union to make representations to the New Zealand Government that, in the forthcoming consultations with the British Cabinet, the New Zealand Government stand firmly by its declared position of strict loyalty to the League ideal, and the use of the League machinery in dealing with international problems.” The executive also decided to suggest to the Dominion Council that the New Zealand League of Nations Union, in consultation with the Australian Union, invite Mr Anthony Eden to visit the Dominions in the interests of the League of Nations Union.
