BRITISH-IRISH TALKS
MR DE VALERA NOT HOPEFUL OF FULL AGREEMENT

LONDON, February 27,
Mr de Valera, who has left for home, stated that he expects the British-Irish talks to conclude next week-end. He added that the differences were so great that it was difficult to reach agreement. Only a comprehensive settlement would possess world significance; but that seemed almost unattainable.
