FAREWELL TO RESIDENT OF SOUTHBRIDGE
A number of friends entertained Mrs Johnson, who, after residing at Southbridge for more than six years, is removing to Christchurch. Mrs Hunter spoke of Mrs Johnson's good qualities and handed to her a gift from friends. A bouquet of roses was presented by Miss E. Maw. Mrs Johnson acknowledged the gifts and good wishes, and afternoon tea was served.
