The offering comprises one of the most outstanding collections of Clydesdale horses from the standpoints of type, breeding, soundness, and working qualities yet submitted in the Dominion. Many of the lots are well-known prize-winners at leading shows and ploughing matches, and, with the exception of the two-year-old fillies, all the female breeding stock are proved workers and can be thoroughly recommended. The Sale is being held at the homestead, to enable visitors to inspect the famous imported sires (all Royal Champions), Desire, Dunlop's Renown, Strathore Streamline, etc., and also the breeding matrons retained in the stud, as at the previous sale, every lot will be sold without reserve.
