OXFORD BRANCH OF MOTHERS' UNION
The annual meeting of the Oxford branch of the Mothers' Union attracted a very good . attendance. A service was held in St. Andrew's Church, the vicar, the Rev. H. F. Ault, giving an address on "Worship." Afterwards the members adjourned to the vicarage lawn, where afternoon tea was served, the hostesses being Mesdames K. D. Henderson and J. J. Skurr.
The balance-sheet, showing a credit balance of 13s Bd, was adopted. The enrolling member, Mrs H. Thompson, presented her report, in which she thanked all who had made the meetings enjoyable and helpful throughout the year. The following officers were elected for the coming year:—Enrolling member, Mrs Powell; vice-president, Mrs Horace Thompson; secretary, Mrs C. Stevenson; assistant secretary. Mrs R. J. Sharpe; auditor, Mr C. J. Hawes, committee, Mesdames Ernest Thompson. F. Loffhagen, T. Inch, G. Ivory. J. J. Skurr, arid W. A. B. Reed.
