"PRESS SHIP" COT OPENING
Governor's Bay This Afternoon READ DIRECTIONS CAREFULLY
" 'The Press Ship' Scatterjoy Cot" will be officially declared open by Mrs Derisley Wood, president of the Cholmondeley Memorial Home Committee, at 3.15 p.m. to-day. The ceremony will take place in the grounds of the Home, Governor's Bay. Three buses will leave Victoria square (by the fountain), at 2.30 p.m. Seats in these buses have been pretty well booked up,; bu.t we may be able to squeeze in a few passengers. A walking party will leave "The Press" office at 11 a.m., taking the tram to the terminus, and then tramping over the hills. Aunt' Amelia Aeroplane and Mrs White, of the S.P.C.A., will be in charge of this party. Members of the walking party will take their lunch and have it on the hills. Afternoon tea will be provided for all at the Cholmondeley Home. A warm welcome is extended to all.
