WALTZING TITLES
SPECIAL FEATURE AT RITZ ASSEMBLY
At the Ritz Assembly this evening the waltzing championships of New Zealand will- be decided. Winning couples from Wellington, Dunedin, Timaru, and Christchurch will compete. Three judges from other districts will decide the winners, who, besides cash prizes, will receive two silver cups -valued at £4 4s. The Dunedin couple will arrive by- aeroplane. This contest is the first waltz championship to be decided in Christchurch for 25 years, and is arousing keen interest among the dancing public. Colin Campbell's band will be in attendance.
