SHIPPING NOTES

The Waimarino is due here to-morrow from Auckland and Wellington and is to sail for Dunedin, Bluff, and Timaru. The Port Waikato is expected here about Tuesday from Auckland and Wellington. She is'to sail for Dunedin and Timaru. The Tees. left the Chatham Islands at 5.30, p.m. on Thursday for Lyttelton and is now due here to-morrow morning. She is to sail on Monday afternoon for the islands.

The Karu is to load here on Tuesday for Nelson and New Plymouth.

CAMBRIDGE AT WELLINGTON

The Cambridge arrived at Wellington from Auckland on Thursday morning to continue her discharging and will leave next Thursday for Lyttelton and Dunedin. THE TAINUI

The Tainui has advised that she will now arrive at Suva to-day from Southampton and London. She will proceed to Wellington, arriving there on March 6 to disembark passengers, and will leave later for Lyttelton and Dunedin. CHANGE IN BEACON The colour of the rear leading beacon at Port Nicholson (lat. 41deg. 17.8 min S., long. 174 deg. 51.9 min. E., approx.) will shortly be altered from white to black and white horizontal stripes. No further notice will be given. INTERCOLONIAL SERVICE Awalea left Auckland February 23 for Sydney, due to-day. Leaves Sydney to-day for Wellington, due March i. Leaves Wellington March 1 for Sydney, due March 4.

Wanganella left Melbourne February 18, Sydney February 22, for Auckland; due to-day. Leaves Auckland March 2 for Sydney, due March 6. Leaves Sydney March 12 for Wellington, due March 16.
