AIR FORCE MACHINES COLLIDE
ONE PILOT KILLED: OTHER LANDS SAFELY

LONDON, February 25.
Two Royal Air Force aeroplanes collided in mid-air off Spithead. One crashed into the sea. No trace has been discovered of the pilot or of the wreckage. The other machine landed safely.
