LAND IN SUSSEX SAVED FROM BUILDING

RUGBY, February 24. Approximately 12,000 acres of downland and water meadows in Sussex, between Eastbourne and Salford, will be preserved from building development for all time. This results from Ministerial • approval of a planning scheme by the local councils, covering an area •of some 19,000 acres.
