* The committee of the Linwood Public Library met on Wednesday evening. Final 'accounts for the year ended January 31 were passed for payment, and 45 new subscribers were enrolled. The twenty-ninth annual report and balance-sheet was presented to the committee and approved. Arrangements for the annual meeting were left in the hands of the president, treasurer, and secretary. Reports were received from the delegates to the New Zealand Libraries Aesodattoit wofep-
ence recently held at Nelson, and the delegates were thanked. .
