ROTARY CONFERENCE CONTINUED

* : THREE ADDRESSES HEARD , ; The national conference of Rotary Clubs continued in the city yesterday.; Three addresses were heard in- the. morning, and in the afternoon members visited Mr J. R. McKenzie’s home, Roydori Lodge, Yaldhurst, where they were entertained at a matinee of trotting horses. In the evening the president’s ball was held. Addresses were given by Sir Alexander Roberts, of Wellington, on “Vocational Service”: Mr H. Thomas, of Auckland, on “Rotary in Business,” and Mr F. G. Milner, of Oamaru, on “The Far Eastern Crisis.” The conference will be continued today, there will be a Rotary picnic at the home of Sir R. Heaton Rhodes, Otahuna, to-morrow, and on Sunday the programme will be concluded with a service at St. Mary’s Church, Merivalc.
