ST. BEDE’S OLD BOYS’ ASSOCIATION
* ANNUAL MEETING HELD The annual general meeting of the St. Bede’s College Old Boys’ Association was held last night. Mr J. B. Taylor presiding over a large attendance. The annual report, which was adopted, showed an increase in the membership during the last year of 18, bringing the total to 436. Income had exceeded expenditure by £l9 13s Bd, but from this £ls 10s—the remainder of the grant of £3O to the college—had been paid instead of drawing on the accumulated fuid as provided in a resolution. This left a net credit balance of £4 3s Bd. The electicn of officers for the ensuing year resulted: —Patron, thi Rector of the College (the Rev. Father M. Dowling, S.M.); president, Mr J. B Taylor; vice-presidents, the Rev. Father B. Blake, S.M., and Messrs B. Bundle and A. R. O’Malley; honorary secretary, Mr R. C. Boland; honorary treasurer, Mr C. Gallagher; committee, Messrs J. R. O’Shaughnessy (Wellington), E. Keenan (Dunedin), J. T. Fogarty (West Coast), B. O. J. Bradley (Timaru), V. Consedine, T. M. Cullen, B. P. Daly, and O. T. Scully; auditor, Mr P. Clarkson.
