LORD NUFFIELD GIVES £SOOO FOR FUND .
fotXSS 4.BSOCIATIOK TIUtOBAM.) WELLINGTON, January 22. To place the work of the Church of England in Polynesia on a firm basis by founding a permanent endowment fund, the Ven. Archdeacon H. MayoHarris, vicar of Suva Cathedral, has conducted an extensive campaign in England during the last six months. He arrived to-day by the Remuera from London. He says the fruits of his work could not be estimated yet as the campaign was on a five years' basis, but at least one-third of the £IO,OOO being sought was assured. A new cathedral is to be built at Suva in two years' time at a cost of £12,000. Lord Nuffield gave £SOOO
