An active canvass is being made by the executive of the Waikato Agricultural and Pastoral Association for members because of the heavy expense that will be involved in the holding of the Royal Show at Hamilton in October next. So far the canvass has been very successful, 50 new members having been enrolled at Eureka and Matangi, and 29 at Glen Murray. Other districts have yet to be visited.
