FLOWER SHOW AT WOOLSTON

INCREASED ENTRIES THIS YEAR HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY'S FIXTURE Most sections in the Woolston Horticultural Society's show, particularly the gladioli section, had more entries than usual in them this year. The show was opened by the president of the society, Mr T. H. McCombs, M.P., on Saturday afternoon. Mr McCombs congratulated the society on the standard of the exhibits in the show. The McCombs Challenge Cup for most points in the homecraft section was won by Mrs A. J. M. -Smith, who gained 56 points. The awards were:—
