MEDICAL EXAMINATION FOR MISS MITCHELL
(FEESS ASSOCIATION TEI.ECRASI.) WELLINGTON, January 21. Mr H. Amos, secretary to the New Zealand Olympic and British Empire Games Association, says that arrangements have been made through the Director-General of Health for the Chief Medical Officer in Auckland to examine Miss Mary Mitchell, the javelin-thrower, who was suffering from German measles. If he gives a clearance and is satisfied that it will not be contrary to the interests of public health for her to travel, she will be sent on to Sydney by the Awatea, leaving Auckland on January 26.
