Mr and Mrs J. E. R. Paterson and their small son (Nelson), who have been visiting Southland and Dunedin have returned and will be the guests of Mrs Black, Manchester street, for the remainder of their holiday.

Mr and Mrs D. O'Neill (Lichfield street), accompanied by Misses E. and J. Crowley, have returned from a motor tour of the West Coast. Mr and Mrs A. M. Satterthwaite have bought Mr and Mrs F. M. Warren's home, "Waipuna," Clyde road and will move there to-day. Later Mr and Mrs J. Boyd-Clark will move into the house now lately occupied by Mr and Mrs Satterthwaite in Burnside road. Miss E. Clouston, sister of the famous New Zealand airman, has been in charge of the Sunlight League's health camp at Okain's Bay. She left yesterday to visit her mother in Nelson, and Miss E. Tame is now in charge of the camp. Mrs H. E. Holland, widow of the former leader of the New Zealand Labour Party, left Wellington on Thursday for Adelaide, where some of her family are Mr R. M. Wolfe, formerly submanager of the Sydney office of the Bank of New South Wales, arrived in Christchurch yesterday morning to take up the position of manager of the Christchurch office. He was J accompanied by Mrs Wolfe and their son.

Mr and Mrs Gerald Sherman (Merivale), who hawe,' bought Mr and Mrs R. L. Hicks's h6me in Glandovey road, will take up residence there next week. Mr and Mrs Hicks and family have taken a flat at Langdown Flats, Colombo street north.

Mr and Mrs Wilfrid Beadel (Fcndalton) have returned from a motoring holiday spent at Pacton and Kaikoura.

Dr. Elizabeth Gunn (Wellington) arrived in Christchurch yesterday.. Mrs Starros Constas and Mr D. Constas (Port Shiptons, South Africa) are staying at the Bruce Hotel, Akaroa.
