CHAIR OF MUSIC
♦ Dr. J. C. Bradshaw, who has been appointed to the Chair of Music at Canterbury University College, was organist at Christchurch Cathedral for 35 years from enrly in 1902. A few weeks after his arrival in Christchurch he was appointed lecturer in music at Canterbury College, and has held that position ever since., His predecessor at both the Cathedral and Canterbury College was Mr George Frederick Tendall, a pupil of Sir John Stainor.
