Captain R. Duncan, of the Ngatoro, is transferring to the Ngakuta. Captain A. D. Creese, who has been temporarily in command of the-Ngakuta, has joined the Talune, relieving Captain J. Bruce for holidays. Captain E. A. Cox is now in command of the Karu, and Captain W. E. Jones is ashore at Wellington, on holidays. Mr J D. Crichton recently rejoined the Wahine as second officer, relieving Mr L. P. Burke on leave. Mr L. Mcßitchie has been appointed third officer of the Taroona at Melbourne, relieving Mr R. G. Scott for holidays. Mr S. C. Angas has rejoined the Waiana as chief officer, relieving Mr A. V. Knight, who has been transferred to the Kekerangu at Hobart, to relieve Mr G. H. Kime for holidays. Mr H. H. Pike is now chief officer of the Wainui, and Mr T. A. Mack is chief officer of the Waitaki. Mr P. E. Ryan, lately chief officer of the Limerick, is relieving Captain W.
