NEW REVUE PRESENTED TO-MORROW

To-night is the final opportunity theatregoers of Christchurch will have of seeing the spectacular revue, "ITk Navy's in Town," with its delightfu musical numbers and good, cleat comedy. Opening to-morrow at th< matinee the popular "Gaieties" Company is to appear in another nev show, "Serenade," in which Joe Lawman is to present a series of novel anc! side-splitting sketches. includim; "Honeymoons," "The Lords," and "The Sailor's Lament." Mr Cliff O'Keefe. well known in Christchurch. is to be heard in "Simon the Cellarer," and with the support of Leo Trenette, Lee Corelli, Elton Black, and Geo. Greig (at the piano), leads his male quartet in "Campfire Melodies." Outstanding in the colourful song scenas is "When My Dream Boat Comes Home," with Wyn Edgerton and Leo Trenette in the leading roles, supported by the "Gaieties" beauty ballet. One of the high-lights of the programme is a delightful musical presentation written and produced by Geo. Greig, of the popular Hilo Duo, entitled "A Tale of Old Madrid," in which practically the complete company participates, including George and "Lizzie" as the musicians. Elvy, the little lady with the fiddle, James, the gay deceiver, Les Diamondos, Fredo Freres, and Heather Wright are all prominent in to-morrow's production. Those who wish to secure a good seat for Saturday's show are well advised to book early at the D.I.C. Day sales are at St. James' confectionery and Jacobs, tobacconists. On Sunday night the "Gaieties" Company is to give a concert in aid of the Christchurch Municipal Band, seats for which may be obtained at the theatre on Sunday afternoon.
