Results^— WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP FIRST LIFE First Round—Mrs Tiffen beat Mrs Moeller, 26-10; Mrs Kirk beat Mrs Finch, 28-15; Miss Washer beat Mrs Johnson, 26-19; Mrs 11. Brown beat Mrs C. Webber, 26-0; Mrs Anstis beat Mrs Mouat, 26-17. Second Round—Mrs Keyes beat Mrs Bock. 26-6; Mrs Caldon beat Mrs Wilson, 26-18; Mrs Hawken beat Mrs Leadbetter, 26-7. MEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP FIRST LIFE First Round—E. W. Veitch beat, W. F. Jarvie, 26-10; A. J. Gibbs beat D. McClymont, 26-16. Second Round—E. W. Veitch beat A. E. Ogier, 26-25. The following were the winners In the first round of the championship doubles:— Mrs Watkins and H. P. Stratton. W. F. Jarvie and Mrs McClymbnt, Miss Card and R. W. McCreath, Mrs Brass and D, McClymont, F. C. Bryan and Mrs Bryan, H. A. Penn and Mrs Palmer, Mrs J. Simpson and Mrs Wood, Mrs Gambrill and E. Veitch, Mrs Caldon and J. Tannock, Mrs Tiffen and W. Tye. Second round winners were: Mrs Walker and C. La Roche, Mrs Watkins and H. P. Stratton, W. F. Jarvie and Mrs McClymont, F. C. Bryan and Mrs Bryan, H. A. Penfi and Mrs Palmer, Mrs Morgan and F. L.
