FILMS OF THE CENTAURUS
Films of the arrival and departure of the Empire flying-boat Centaurus were shown to the Lyttelton Harbour Board at its annual meeting yesterday, by Mr C. H. Clibborn, the board’s secetary. Mr Clibborn said that, so far as he • is aware, no similar film had been taken of the flying-boat while it was here on its historic flight, and as a record of the event it would be most valuable. The chairman of the board. Mr R. T. McMillan, said that members were indebted to the secretary for having the film taken.
At the same meeting the board received a signed photograoh of the Centaurus from the crew, and a letter of thanks frr~~ Captain J. W. Burgess, the commander for facilities made available at Lyttelton.
