Correspondents who do not comply with our rules set out in the last column of our Leader Page will excuse us from noticing their letters. F.T.—Mr J. T. Sutton has supplied the following information. The Waitangi was wrecked on February 29* 1896. Three of its occupants, Messrs W. F. Warner, of Warner’s Hotel, H. Stewart, and Murray, the licensee of the New Brighton Hotel, were drowned. The fourth, a Mr Murray, who was a resident of North Beach, was saved.
