YOUNG WOMAN’S DEATH
CORONER’S FINDING
(FBBSS ASSOCIATION TNLKOBAK.) WELLINGTON, January 19. Die opinion was expressed by the Coroner, Mr E. Gilbertson, at the inquest into the death of Alison May Burch, who was killed in a motor accident on the night of December 19, that excessive drinking was in no way responsible. He found that death was caused through injuries she received while she was a passenger in a car driven by Derek Taylor, when it struck a telegraph post.
The evidence was that Taylor was driving back with Miss Burch from a dance at the “Brown Owl,” near Upper Hutt, and that the car left the road at a comer.
