CLOUSTON’S FLIGHT TO N.Z.
♦-— TENTATIVE ARRANGEMENTS AT MOTUEKA [THE PRESS Special Service.] MOTUEKA. January 18. Keen interest is being taken in the projected flight of Flying Officer A. E. Clouslon from England to New Zealand. . It is understood that Mr Clouston will begin the first stage of his flight on February 1, and, according to information received to-day, the arrival at Motueka is tentatively scheduled for February 5 and 6. In an interview, the Majmr of Motueka (Mr R. J. L. York), said that there was every possibility that the Prime Minister (the Rt. Hon. M. J Savage) and members of Cabinet would be present. The borough council had been granted a permit by the Department of Civil Aviation for Flying Officer Clouston lo land at Motueka.
