TRAINING FOR NAVAL RESERVISTS
TO ACCOMPANY CRUISERS TO AUSTRALIA (»■■• AMOCIATIO* T»L«G»AK.) WELLINGTON, January 13. To gain further experience to ertable them to qualify for higher rating, several members of the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve are joining H.M.S. Achilles and H.M.S. Leander for a period on the Australian cruise of those vessels. The names of the reservists are Petty-Officer H. J. Reilly (Canterbury Division), Leading Signalman M. C. Kay (Auckland), Able Seaman J. C. Ormiston (Auckland), Ordinary Signalman J. N. Jones (Auckland), and Yeoman of Signalman A. J. A. Campbell (Auckland). Petty-Officer Reilly will embark on the Achilles at Auckland! on January 19 and disembark at Bluff on March 7. The other members -will embark on the Leander at Auckland on January 19 and disembark at Auckland on or about March 1.
