INCREASES RECOMMENDED (Received December 6. 7.5 p.m.) DUBLIN, December 5. The Free State Ministerial salaries committee recommends the following increases:—The President, to £SOOO, plus £IO,OOO in allowances; the Premier, from £2500 to £3000; the Deputy-Premier, from £I7OO to £2SOU; the Speaker and Ministers, from £1750 to £2250; Parliamentary Secretaries, from £I2OO to £1400; pensions of former presidents to £1200; pensions of former Ministers, from £3OO to £500; and widows of former Ministers, to £250.
